  • Which driveway surface is the best?

There are pros and cons to all driveway surfaces. Concrete can be problematic as it can become uneven and crack, leading to puddles. Resin-bonded and resin-bound driveways are popular but have their drawbacks. Gravel driveways continue to be a top choice for most in terms of cost, maintenance, appearance and longevity.

  • How much does a new driveway cost?

The cost of a driveway depends on the amount of excavation/preparation required, the size of the driveway, and the surface finish.

Concrete, while low-cost, might have an industrial-looking finish and is prone to cracking. Gravel driveways can be more affordable and don't have problems with puddles. Costs also include any special features and additional landscaping for a high-end finish, plus the hidden costs of laying a driveway, such as removing the existing driveway.

  • How much maintenance does a gravel driveway require?

Traditional gravel driveways required frequent maintenance to rake stones back into place and suffered from rutting and thinning out. Modern solutions, like installing Gravelrings, create low-maintenance gravel driveways by keeping the gravel in place and resisting weed growth.

  • What types of solutions do you recommend for sealing my basement?

Homeowners often want a long-term warranty and peace of mind. The best solution usually is an interior drainage system.

  • To waterproof my foundation, do I need to seal my floors in addition to my walls?

No, but it is best to consult with a waterproofing professional who can design the best solution for you.

  • I want to finish my basement. Is there a way to guarantee a dry basement all the time?

We provide solutions with long-term warranties. Important considerations include the type of waterproofing system and sump system installed.

  • What causes a leaking basement?

Water can seep into your basement through cracks in the walls or floor, mortar joints, tie rods, cove joints, the top of the foundation, or window wells. Leaky plumbing is also a common cause.
